AB 1542 encourages
diverse representation on local child care and
development planning councils while maintaining a
balance of different interests. Membership is
grouped into the following categories:
- 20% Consumers
- 20% Child Care
Providers
- 20% Public
Agency Representatives
- 20% Community
Representatives
- 20%
Discretionary Members.
The Colusa County
Board of Supervisors and the Superintendent of
Schools appoint members of the Child Care Planning
Council of Colusa County, establishes the terms of
appointments, reviews and approves needs assessments
and local funding priorities. |
